My learnings on recent crash

1. Never trade without stoploss, don't afraid to take a small loss else might lose your capital itself.

2. Never trade in penny stocks which keeps hitting UC/LC all the time. If you do, don't be greedy watch closely and get rid of it when u smell reversal.

3. Always keep and eye on the indexes where the shares you hold belongs, look for global cues and market history. Just because you are pretty new to share trading, there is not exception on you for the market, ...

KISS: Keep IT Simple, Stupid

1. Pick a List of good stock as per their past

performance (As we tried to do in Portfolio V1 and V2).

2. don’t invest from each month's salary then and there, rather keep aside some

money (say 25% of your salary) every month for shares.

3. The day you see a huge crash ( happens 4-5 times a year for sure) put all

your money accumulated so far in those stock picked as per pt1.

4.Sit idle, until market reaches new high (3 months, 6 months).. In the ...

1. I have been tempted to jump into a stock with a lot of rush when i find it being in Circuits or having run up a lot, just to be not left out.

2. I also have jumped into a stock purely based on a tip from somewhere.

3. I have been tempted to buy a stock at a price not comfortable to me, and still buy it fearing it may go up and i would have to pay more.

What i learnt

1. Never ever jump into a stock without doing any research or based on just a tip.

2. Wait for the correct price...you ...

People in my team earned more than what I have earned, that too following my picks. I had a bad habit (which I changed with time) of jumping among stocks too frequently. Although I consider myself as a short term (ST) invetsor, I never sticked to my calls. Just take the example of my pick of Ispat t 26 and LLoyd Steel at some 13 odd price.

It is not something related to invalidation of those intial calls, but I tend to switch my fund once I enocuntered another stock with better potential. ...
