Query @ Anid_007 (Only one Query per User per Week)

I've got these stocks with following prices. What do you suggest me to do. Sell or have patience and hold for some more time?
Please suggest. (Bought them because they were mentioned here and there in old forum)

Hi Anid,

I Know its tuffer time in Market. No one can predict the huge falls and Huge raise... And we are simple humans.....

My query is all the open calls in our blog http://indiastocktip.blogspot.com/ are nearing their stoploss, some has triggered it too........ with bhushan steel an exception.. what is your view now..

is it time to extend the stop loss, so that we can wait for some more and be patient....... Or do u think that its getting nasty now and we gotto to sell it of by booking losses.....

My portfolio suffering -13%,, but i still believe it will turn green in not less than 2 months....

5700 an healthy support or its gonna break down to 5500.......

I appreciate your concern. But in such case when whole market is buthered, dont exit on basis of stoploss. Keep holding. I am watching my calls very closely. Will let you know if exit is required. As of now no need to panic on trigger of stoploss. We expect a sharp bounce back once market stabilises.

& plz. give me your advise on Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd. i bought 550 @ 175
i think this is also a strong stock, last 2-3month its not increas to much, also not falling. do u have any idea on it? i heard the tgt. of 1000+ in long turm.

plz. suggest me what to do

Compact Disk is a definite rebuy, specially at this level of 114. I dont have much idea about that Hindustan Dorr stock. Not tracking.

You can also invest in other stocks mentioned in the last psot of mine in 'stock of the year 2008' thread.

If you can wait till 6 months you can start buying. Look for Value Picks and Nifty Stocks. Some of the midcap and smalls caps are also looking good at exceptionally cheap price. Dont go for Penny Stock in such situation.

Our stocks like Electrosteel casting, Rel Infra, Compact Disc got saved and fell 5 % only as compared to other mid caps which had a free fall. Do you feel this is a positive thing or will these stocks will be forced to correct even after market stabilises?

Rel Infra is really not very much market dependant a times. You may see its upword move even when market falls (although not during such landslide)

Compact Disk is a strong candidate and can cope with market pressure. although it is not sure if the LC will continue for next few days, I dont see any reason to worry for compact disk holder. Eventually you should be in huge profit.

ELectrosteel may see some downslide, but it is Hold as of now.


Alps Ind can be rebought if market stabilises. Its is a real gold mine. Infact I may put some money on it soon. let see.

NO view for ST in this scenario. Keep adding in small quantity if market continue to corrects. Keep a MT to LT view.

NTPC-CMP
RNRL-CMP
ALPS Ind-CMP
Compact Disk (only below 105 when you get)
Esser Oil-CMP
Ispat Ind-CMP,
Nagarjuna Fert-CMP

Dont put more than 20% of your fund in one stock

Dont jump blindly asap market open, even if some early positive move is there. Wait till 3-00 PM if negativity continues.
But Positive uptrend continues--you can eneter by 11 am.

seems there is a race amongst losers now... people like me (so called LT investors with a desire of ST profit making) are feeling most of the pain...

this really seems like a bottomless pit.only yesterday did i buy relpet and look at the way it has crashed.it really seems too gloomy. small time inveaters like me are facing the brunt of it. i dont understand why the FM doesnt interfere. not a message from him.

you should not have jumped in with all the money in one day, as you might have done yesterday. You were required to accumulate in small quantity (10-15% of your extra fund) on each slide, so even you if might not have got the scrip in cheapest price, but things might have been better.

My portfolio was +30% about a week back ... all was good.... now frm the last week am unable to get out of any stock... all in LC... facing loss everyday....

wat dou suggest to hold or exit...
was trying to get out in phases frm Deccan gold mines.... it has lost a lot.....
help...

Hi,
I would like to advise only on the stock I track --Deccan Gold Mine and Gremach Infra are Hold...No need to panic on those. Rest of the stock will take time to recover...Nucleus Soft is a sell once it comes to your buyinng price..

If you want cover your loss you have to wait...but you can get smarter if you can arrange some 50k-2Lakhs and invest now, in market as per my Portfolio V2 or your own good picks (no penny stock or circuit breaker)...by the time your old stock will come to their buy level, you will be having huge profit fromg the new lot.

SBI and UCO Bank are good Buy at current price in MT and LT stand, but not for ST.

Cholmandalam posted great result this Dec07 Quer'..So It is no doubt a good pick any of ST MT or LT.

Compact Disk will start hitting UC, once market is stabilised (even if at level of 17500)--great stock..Dont bother for LCs. Keep Holding. Buy more if you can get it at level of 82 (I dont think it will go that below)

I will let you know about Entegra little later.
