| Dear Anid Wasn't able to do any shopping during the fall due to lack of funds and now that I have funds, I believe that the stocks have gone up substantially and are expected to come down or show range bound consolidation for sometime. What do you advice? Should I go and do some buying tomorrow or wait for Monday? Regards Shrirang | |

| The Buying of Stock During this Crash and ofcourse the God Blessed timing of release of Portfolio V2 has yielded a decent profit already—although I have not booked it yet. I will post the Buying cart by evening, after the data CMP is updated on my demate holdings on market closure.

| Ok guys, The wait is over--i n next 3 months either I will be in an economically comfortable zone (as per my investment) or I am going get screwed up badly.I jumped in market just after it crashed (last 3-4 buy item in Porfolio ver 1) and when everyone was scared and I did the same once again after Publsihing the Portfolio blueprint for different catagory--25k to 5 Lakhs. This time I bought at 2 Lakhs slot. Lot of money trapped at higher level in portfolio 1, except some last 3-4 buys there. I consolidated info of my buying cart. http://indianstocktips.anid007.googlepages.com/Anid_007_BuyingCart.xls You can find the same info in Board Anid_007's Portfoliounder the thread Anid_007 Account-- Let's face the reality | |

Such kind of volatility will persist as we have many retailers suffocating at higher level. So as market will recover, they will try to free their cash.Treat each such occasion as buying opportunity. Eventually we will reach higher level. This up & down game should be over by this weekend I believe. I heard some negative news about Bank of China (I don't know the name exactly). They are telling even China may be a victim of its own subprime issue. That's why Chinese market is sending negative news to whole Asian Markets. In short term we may suffer, like today--but if Chinese economy goes down, India will be the winner as in our country the credit system is more robust to such subprime issues. Subprime ripples may hit Bank of China

| Expect good upward movement of the index in the first hour of market opening. Eventually it will be announcement made by RBI, that will guide the index for the rest of the day. | |

| Asian Market will be holding the key in morning. Although FED rate cut is almost sure, but the result on US economy as revealed is really spreading negative sentiments all around. So Tomorrow it may be a very good day for Shopping if you still not have decided to enter. | |

| No new buy now (I am posting at 9-45 am, sentiments are quite negative), stay away from new buy. Stock already bought, could be kept on Hold for MT/LT. | |

Also the roll over finishes today and we might see a new rally beginin in a couple of days ? F&O cue from the Ongoing Rollover is positive. But Tonight US will Publish the data on unemployment. So I suspect that on Friday we will be on the looser side. I am fully invested, could not buy anymore untill I sell something. So I am not buiyng. I will suggest to wait till Friday 3-00 pm, to get the things in cheaper price. (I would be wrong if Dow ride the bulls today, and I will be happy to be wrong )

Yes..but as Nifty slided below the strong support level of 5050, I expect more downslide..so hold your cash as of now.

| Well......I am feeling hopeless ...as my last ray of hope on market recovery on Rel Power listing day eneters the darkest tunnel. I am seeing no respite in downslide on tommorrow and day after either. The current turmoil has ruined the confidence of small retail investors, apart from the wealth. Next level to be tested is 4500 of Nifty and 15700 of sensex....if those were breached....well I will assume that I wont be able to sell any my holding before Dec 2008. Pray to God that we get some good news from US market in near term. Anid | |

| Things doesn't look so good for US economy. It is getting worse everyday(I'm in US), It's going to get better middle of this year but definitely in short term, it's not going to help.
I have decided to get out of my open positions either with no loss or a small loss today and enter at a later date to save my capital as i already lost handful in last month. What do you suggust?
1. Nagarfert @37.99 2. RCOMM @604 3. Compact Disk @ 87.40 4. ChennPetro @ 312.75 5. NTPC @219.75 6. Ispat @46.40 7. GMR @176.40

Infact when I bought on Portfolio V2, in 2 Lakhs Slab, I have some of those picks on profit. I feel that the market is oversold. The only bad thing is that the recent fall has ruined the confidence of retail investors. It is going to take some time (at least 1-2 quarters) to regain some momentum, or unless the FIIs starts pouring money once again on some unexpected good news from West.

| Hi Anid dont u think this is the time to buy specially for longterm investors who r in loss currently specially to average their buying price and also according to the kiss theory u explained dont u think we should start buying in phased manner. If we have a horizon of 1-2 years is it not the right time for investment | |

| Well,if your wait time is about 1-2 years then you can start buying even now, cause we expect some postive changes in US economy after Nov' 08 if not immediately.
And as far as Indian Growth story is concerned, it is definitely going to remain intact in near to mid term.
But although I suggest normally midcaps in my ST-MT portfolio (V1 ,V2)--you must look for index stocks in such time of Crisis when you are going to wait for 1-2 years..so that the organisation at least can withstand any oncomingh economic slowdown....what I mean it should be
1. Large Caps which are index stock, like L&T, Rel Packs. 2. May be Few Stocks with Low PE or good fundamentals, eg- Chennai Petro 3. Stocks in IT sectors (you may be surprised, but if it is 1-2 years time, I wont mind buying Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra in such discouted rate) 4. Power Stocks: NTPC, Power Grid etc.
you can invest 40-50% of your cash right now, and hold the rest..if you see downslide beyound 15k (which is unlikely, but not impossible) you should not enter with rest 50% immediately..rather wait for market to get stabilised.
Any buy in current scenario on value packs is sure to yield a return of 200-300% at least in 2 years span.

| It looks bearish everyday... quite a few people in the markets are of the view that it will test the 15K levels which was the previous stop.. and may go down further and the next stop is 12k!!!.. looks we need to offlod the stocks for now and sit tight with our money... anybody making money from the markets?? i am just so scared to do anything that I just look at my portfolio and feel sad on how much loss I am at!!! i was counting on rpower ipo to bring me some money but looks like that has also not worked!!... FII's have made their money when they bought at 10K levels..now they want to book it before the subprime hits india... i dont know if it is my view...but somehow i think India growing at 8% level is not going to be met.. jus look around you..amount people in slums..over congested roads..malls every where to pull ur money out of ur pocket..india is still growin in a haphazard fashion... | |
